In its latest announcement, the PGCB has announced a combined penalty of over 100 thousand dollars for two licensed firms.

The two violating companies in question are the operator Hollywood Casino York and the manufacturer TCS John Huxley. The former took a larger portion of the combined 100 thousand dollar fine at 78 thousand dollars, while the former got hit with a 22 thousand dollar penalty.

The operator was issued the amercement for not meeting the state’s minimum requirements for security staff, while the provider was penalized for failing to appropriately file certain licensing applications.

In addition to these fines, the regulator’s latest enforcement action also includes a ban from gambling establishments on five people who left minors in vehicles to gamble at various casinos across the state of Pennsylvania.

In one of the cases highlighted by the PGCB, two adults left five children in a vehicle for over half an hour to gamble at the Presque Isle Downs establishment in Erie, with the youngest of unattended minors being just two years old. In another instance, a patron left two children under the age of ten in a vehicle for over 45 minutes at Mohegan Pennsylvania in Wilkes-Barre.

Furthermore, the regulator added that in addition to the most recent bans, it has also rejected an appeal request from a person who was put on the involuntary exclusion list for leaving two minors unattended in a casino parking lot for 45 minutes back in 2017.
