SkyCity Auckland closure dates are announced
According to the earlier released announcement, SkyCity Auckland will be closed for five days. The closure dates will be from Monday, September 9 to Friday, September 13.
After a responsibility failure by the owners, the gambling area will be temporarily closed in respect of a customer. This applies only to the gambling and dining areas.
SkyCity CEO Jason Walbridge said:
“The closure is the result of failings on the part of SkyCity, which we have accepted responsibility for. We failed to meet the standards expected of us in this case.”
According to different announcements, over recent years, SkyCity has made significant progress in strengthening risk management across the SkyCity Group.
