Star names Janelle Campbell as CEO of Sydney operations
Janelle Campbell has recently been named the CEO of Star Entertainment’s operations in Sydney.
Having had a career of more than twenty years in the gambling sector, the new appointee is well-equipped to lead Star Entertainment’s operations and properties in Sydney. One of her most noteworthy positions was at Melco Entertainment, where she was the SVP of Finance for just over a decade.
Robbie Cooke, Star Entertainment’s MD and CEO, commented:
“We are delighted to expand our team with Janelle, as she is an esteemed gambling executive. She has a plethora of experience managing sizable teams of over a thousand people who were responsible for large-scale international businesses. We are eager to work closely with Janelle throughout our ongoing restructuring program to enhance the operations of our Sydney establishment.”
The new appointee stated:
“I am quite excited to have this opportunity to join Star at such a transformational time for the firm and to contribute towards the future of such an established tourist destination in Syndey. Along with ensuring suitability for all necessary regulatory approvals, we will work toward building confidence in our regulatory partners, staff members, and patrons.”
This news follows shortly after the company announced the appointment of Daniel Finch as the CEO of Star’s operations in Brisbane, completing the company’s plan of assigning designated CEOs to each of its major operations throughout Australia that were carried out as part of the operator’s ongoing restructuring efforts.
