UAE’s first lottery launches with Dh100M grand prize

The Game LLC, Abu Dhabi’s first and only licensed lottery operator, has launched the UAE Lottery.

Licensed by the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) in July, The UAE Lottery’s tickets can be purchased from the official website.

The first live draw will take place on December 14 and will feature prizes such as the Lucky Day grand prize, worth Dh100 million, and seven Lucky Chance IDs, each valued at Dh100,000. There are also scratch cards that offer cash prizes ranging from Dh50,000 to Dh1 million.

The Game LLC is dedicated to following international standards and promoting ethical gaming, as stated by Bishop Woosley, director of lottery operations. The UAE Lottery’s objective is to motivate players to dream big in a safe and fair environment.

The GCGRA audited the lottery according to regulatory norms concerning the fairness of game mechanics and transparency at winner selection. The authority has confirmed its intention to oversee all commercial gaming activities for purposes of consumer protection.

The UAE Lottery marks yet another milestone in the country’s entertainment landscape, as the UAE prepares to open its first casino with Wynn Resorts on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah.
