Boomerang Partners reports a a strong start to Golden Boomerang League
Boomerang Partners is hosting the first sports traffic tournament, the Golden Boomerang League, from September 1st to October 31st.
Participants include both current and new affiliate partners of the company who generate FTDs for sports brands in its client portfolio. Partners who are eligible for the final prize draw have to meet the criteria of generating 20 and more sports FTDs, with 49 teams having met such conditions by now.
In the first month of the tournament, sports traffic to Boomerang Partners’ client brands went up by 31%. This rise came as top European football leagues started their new seasons, which also helped lift the numbers.
Most of the traffic was from the Champions League and Europa League matches. Boomerang Partners is looking for the Champions League to receive even more interest in October, particularly with games like Arsenal vs Atlético Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen vs PSG, and Real Madrid vs Juventus (21–22 October) taking place.
The attention will be solely on the El Clásico match between Real Madrid and Barcelona on October 26th. The NBA season as well will start on October 21st, with two major games: Thunder vs Rockets and Warriors vs Lakers.

The winners of the Golden Boomerang League 2025 will be revealed on stage during the second day of SiGMA Rome, on November 5th. The grand prize includes automatic entry into the third season of the Golden Boomerang Awards 2026: the global traffic tournament that brings together top affiliate teams from around the world. Known for its exclusivity, the event gives affiliates the chance to showcase their skills and gain international recognition.
