Caesars Virginia delays opening to December 17

Caesars Virginia announced that its 587,000-square-foot casino resort will open its doors on December 17 instead of the initial date of December 12.

The opening was delayed because the company continued the finishing touches, such as a bar, event center, and restaurant. Earlier this year, in August, Caesars Entertainment announced that its Caesars Virginia Casinos would be opened later this year. At that time, the reason for the late opening was the boosted game offerings.

Chris Albrecht, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Caesars Virginia, commented:

“It definitely takes a minute to do all that coming from completely using 50 acres and starting from scratch. We’ve started with over 400 team members to get to close to 1200. And a lot of them are getting into some really life-changing jobs, life-changing roles, making more money than they ever have. So that’s been just exciting and rewarding to see.”

With more than 90,000 square feet of gaming space, including approximately 1,500 slot machines, 79 table games, 48 electronic table games, a dedicated WSOP poker room, and a Caesars Sportsbook, the 587,000-square-foot resort has something to offer everyone.

Caesar’s Denville Casino is part of Caesars’ Rewards network, meaning that members can earn credits at the property and redeem them at the company’s portfolio of more than 50 properties.
