Interview with Phillip C. – CEO & Strategic Partner at ChiliStakes

In a recent interview with AffPapa, Phillip C., CEO and Strategic Partner of ChiliStakes, spoke about their vision, bold player-first approach, a new brand, and future plans.

Yeva: Philip, you’re both CEO and Strategic Partner. Where do you personally like to get involved the most—product, marketing, big-picture plans?

I naturally gravitate toward the overlap between product and brand. I believe if your product doesn’t tell a story or spark an emotion, it becomes just another platform. That’s why I stay deeply involved in both how the experience feels to players and how it’s communicated to the world. I enjoy building the big-picture strategy, but I’m still hands-on with feature flow, design feedback, and how we present ourselves in every headline and campaign.

Yeva: ChiliStakes entered the market in 2024, which was a rather competitive year for iGaming. What made this the right time to introduce ChiliStakes to the world?

The space is competitive, yes—but it’s also noisy, stale, and overloaded with cookie-cutter brands. We saw an opportunity not just to launch another casino, but to challenge the status quo. Players were craving something fresh: better service, faster payouts, and a brand that actually engages them. We brought that with ChiliStakes—a mix of crypto/fiat flexibility, personal support, spicy promotions, and a community-first approach. It wasn’t just the right time—it was overdue.

Yeva: What’s one special thing that sets ChiliStakes apart from other iGaming platforms?

ChiliStakes was built on the idea that service is the real game changer. While most platforms compete on bonuses or game libraries, we compete on how players feel while playing. What truly sets us apart is the way we blend crypto agility, VIP-level support, and a bold brand experience into one seamless journey. We’re not faceless. We’re fast, responsive, and fiercely player-first. Whether you’re a casual bettor or a high roller, you feel the difference the moment you land — from intuitive UI to instant reloads, surprise rewards, and real-time chat with actual humans. It’s iGaming with personality, not just a platform.

Yeva: You’ve positioned ChiliStakes as ”a gateway to adventure”. What does that mean in practical terms for players?

It means no player should ever feel like just a user ID. From their first visit, they’re pulled into an experience—whether it’s through interactive rewards, surprise reloads, hidden chili hunts, or personal outreach. It’s not just betting; it’s discovery, interaction, and progression. You’re not just depositing—you’re unlocking something.

Yeva: How important do you think it is to have a strong personality and brand voice in your strategy, and how do you keep it authentic while also evolving the idea as you scale?

It’s essential. In a crowded space like iGaming, a strong brand voice is what cuts through the noise and builds loyalty. ChiliStakes is unapologetically bold, fun, and spicy—but that’s not an act. That energy is woven into how we hire, how we communicate, and how we support players. As we grow, we’ll evolve the voice, but the core will stay the same: honest, humorous, and human.

Yeva: Fast forward a bit, where’s ChiliStakes headed in the next 2–3 years? Any unannounced features and initiatives that are surely worth watching out for?

We’re building ChiliStakes into more than a casino — it’s becoming an interactive, player-first gaming ecosystem. Over the next 2–3 years, you’ll see us double down on original games, launch more crypto-native mechanics like staking and loyalty NFTs, and expand the VIP experience with layered benefits, private circles, and real-world perks.

That said, the second half of 2025 is fascinating. In Q3 and Q4, we’re rolling out two significant features that are unlike anything currently available in iGaming.
One will completely redefine casino streaming, transforming passive watching into real-time, branded interaction for both players and casinos. The second focuses on responsible gaming, not in the generic checkbox way, but through a personalized, player-first RG system that gives users tools to understand their habits, feel safe, and actively improve how they engage with games. It’s RG with absolute transparency, real control, and honest conversation.

These aren’t side projects — they’re core to our evolution. We’re not here to follow the industry. We’re here to push it forward.

Yeva: You’re launching a new brand, which promises to be more playful, themed for gentlemen and ladies. How do you see this brand standing out, and what kind of experience do you want players to have?

Yes, thanks for pointing that out. We are launching a new brand, and soon we will reveal all the details. What I can say at the moment is that it will be much more user-friendly for entertainment, with lots of challenges, tournaments, and real assets as rewards. To be honest, we have worked hard over the past years, received good and bad reviews, which we took very seriously in every aspect, from conversion to user experience and interface. Now, I can finally say that we are aiming to be the best converting brand out there. But, let’s wait for the results to prove it.

Yeva: Lastly, what is one personal philosophy that has helped you the most throughout this journey as a CEO and Strategic Partner?

Always stay close to the player. Numbers matter, strategies evolve, but if you lose touch with what real players feel and want, everything starts to drift. Whether it’s reading feedback at 2 AM or personally reaching out to a high roller, that connection keeps the business grounded and growing. The moment you forget who you’re building for, you’ve already lost.
