New crypto casino scam with Elon Musk’s name targets crypto fans

A viral screenshot claiming that Elon Musk launched a “crypto casino” offering a $2,500 bonus is circulating across social media, with cybersecurity experts warning it’s a fake promotion and a crypto scam.

The post, appearing to come from Musk’s official X (Twitter) account, calls users to visit a website called Vemowex.com and enter a promo code to receive instant rewards. However, the CryptoScams community confirms that this is a phishing attempt designed to steal personal and financial information.

This kind of scam uses the trust and visibility of public figures like Elon Musk to trick users into clicking on fake links or sending cryptocurrency to fraudulent addresses. Moreover, legitimate promotions never require deposits or private key access.

Remember: Fake profiles or misleading posts must be immediately reported with one thing in mind: if an online offer sounds too good to be true, especially in the crypto segment, it’s almost fake.

Elon Musk’s official X account has not announced anything about a crypto casino or a giveaway. Experts remind users to stay attentive and, before any kind of engagement, verify posts directly on official accounts.
