William Hill Broadens Its Business In Columbia
William Hill moves forward, enlarging the gaming industry in South America. The chosen destination for establishing its Alfabet SAS is Columbia.
The negotiations over the project firstly started in December 2020. Beginning in 2018, Alfabet running Gibraltar, and British operators received a significant shot at the project. Alfabet has obtained the Columbian license by Colijuegos, as a Columbian game industry manager, to run internet-driven games.
Following five months after taking a joint journey with Alfabet and rebranding as William Hill, the company began leading gambling activities within Columbia.
The operator announced that the Alfabet, current brand name shifted into Willian Hill, has broadened its strategy, and expanded its business internationally.
Willian Hill CEO, Ulrik Bengtsson clarified:
Our team is glad to register such magnificent growth in the business spreading its borders globally in a quite short amount of time. The deal received its starting point in Malta, and presently we are happy to enter Latin America and carry our business here. It is remarkable to integrate with the Alfabet team and unitedly under the William Hill brand provide a cost-effective product to the Columbian marketplace, as the ninth destination to run William Hill business.
