ReferOn’s Model Context Protocol for AI affiliate management
ReferOn, a next-gen affiliate management system, is developing a Model Context Protocol (MCP), laying the groundwork for AI in affiliate marketing.
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants directly access ReferOn’s APIs, databases, and platform functions. Rather than adding superficial AI features to existing systems, ReferOn is building the infrastructure that puts AI where it can provide real value for users every day.
Alex Bukin, ReferOn’s General Manager, commented:
“Strategy and real impact come before hype. MCP isn’t about chasing a wave, it’s about creating a foundation that keeps affiliate managers and operators ahead of the curve. By focusing on building the groundwork to support structured data and open standards, we’re making sure AI has real use cases, not just cosmetic add-ons. Our goal is to set the benchmark for innovation and lead the affiliate management ecosystem by shaping its future.”
The introduction of MCP allows affiliate managers to spend less time on repetitive tasks and more on strategy, relationship-building, and growth. With AI agents, tasks like generating tracking links, setting up reward plans, or spotting anomalies in traffic data can happen in seconds. This is what being “AI-ready” truly means — building practical infrastructure, not just adding flashy features.
The first step toward this vision is ReferOn’s Global Search (Beta). More than a simple search bar, it serves as a single entry point to data, actions, and insights, seamlessly connecting ReferOn’s core systems, raw data, and intelligent AI agents.
