Betsson expands in the Mexican market
Betsson is entering Mexico by releasing betting and gaming offerings as the company is working hard to mark its place in the Latin American market.
Having initially started operations on a trial basis, betsson.mx the company is going to be controlled by the Latin American center based in Bogota, Colombia, which is also going to work with the division based in Malta.
The group has set itself the goal of “boosting commercial activity” to host major tournaments in Mexico later this year, part of a broader focus on promoting regional growth via localizing and cultural outreach.
“Our company is excited to release in Mexico which is the 2nd biggest market in the Latin American market. We are going to utilize this experience and we are confident that we are going to achieve our goal of offering attractive products, as well as providing a quality customer experience for our Mexican consumer.”

The product range of the new Betsson brand includes “a number of sports and events” with North American betting methods well-known by the Mexican clients, for example money line, negotiation and teaser betting.
Betsson has been operating in the region for more than fourteen years as Colombia is one of the most exciting markets through the 70% purchase of ColBet’s stakes. The company is also partnering with football club AC Milan.
