Kindred has recently announced that it will be funding education sessions for the players of its partner sports team Rangers FC.

The company and the sports club have marked the tenth anniversary of their collaboration this year, having originally entered into a partnership back in 2013. The education sessions will be provided not only to the players of the club but also to other staff, with responsible gambling consulting firm EPIC Risk Management being the host of the sessions.

This partnership will be the first one of its kind, marking one of the first times a Scottish football team has worked with a company like EPIC to provide its players and employees with gambling education.

Kindred mentioned in its announcement that all of the sessions that will be provided to Rangers FC will be custom-tailored to be perfectly fit for the participants and will feature invaluable insights from former athletes who have had previous experiences with gambling problems.

Additionally, the operator mentioned that throughout this year’s sports season, Kindred has dedicated its sponsorship spots on the fronts of the club’s shirts to its Journey Toward Zero initiative, as part of which the operator aims to generate no revenue from problematic or harmful gambling behaviors.
