Tabcorp appoints Mark Howell as CFO
Mark Howell has recently been named Tabcorp’s Chief Financial Officer.
The new appointee has quite a bit of experience working in senior financial positions at major companies, with his current position being the GM of Finance at Coles’ liquor division, which is a major retail firm in Australia. Having joined his current employer more than half a decade ago, Howell will be bringing a wealth of experience in financial management in the retail sector. Prior to joining Coles, the new appointee held numerous prominent positions at other major companies in Australia, with his total experience being close to two decades.
The MD and Chief Executive of Tabcorp, Adam Rytenskild, remarked:
“We are excited to welcome Mark to our team, as he is an excellent fit for our company as we strive to accelerate our growth. Having worked in quite a competitive and customer-centric industry, Mark’s experience is perfect for Tabcorp, as the betting sector in the Australian market is similarly competitive and challenging. Additionally, his expertise in leading financial management teams will also be quite valuable for our company.”
Howell will be taking on his new responsibilities at Tabcorp before June of next year, with his appointment being subject to certain regulatory authorizations.
