Better Collective purchases Tipsbladet.dk for €6.5m
Better Collective has recently expanded its portfolio of brands with Tipsbladet.dk.
Having been founded three-quarters of a century ago in 1948, Tipsbladet is one of the oldest names in sports media in the Nordic region. Over its long history, the firm has solidified itself as the go-to media publication for football for a wide variety of sports fans in Denmark.
Tipsbladet publishes a varied collection of sports media content on its website, which includes sports news, wagering tips, match previews, and others. In addition to written media, the company publishes videos for its audience of almost 7 million monthly active users. Moreover, the firm also has over 110 thousand followers on a variety of social media platforms, such as Instagram and Twitter.
This acquisition will further expand Better Collective’s portfolio of sports media subsidiaries, along with the company’s presence in its home market, Denmark. Tipsbladet will officially become a part of the Better Collective group on the 2nd of October, with the entirety of the company’s team joining the group as well.
Lastly, Better Collective mentioned in its announcement that it will facilitate the 6.5 million euro purchase with cash in three separate installments.
