Casino Guru, the leading online casino database and responsible gambling advocate, has revisited the success of its Gamalyze campaign, launched during Safer Gambling Week 2024. The initiative, conducted in collaboration with Mindway AI, a data science company specializing in gambling behavior analysis and technology-driven consumer protection, has yielded insightful new findings.
The Gamalyze tool, designed to assess and inform consumers about their gambling habits, was launched by 10,479 visitors, with 7,116 completing the game. Casino Guru’s latest review of the campaign data has uncovered even stronger results than initially expected, reinforcing the effectiveness of the initiative.
As Casino Guru News previously reported, a total of 279,000 people encountered the Gamalyze campaign on Casino Guru’s website, with 65% of those who visited the game details opting to play—approximately 13,000 participants. The new data also shed light on key gambling behavior trends and player risk levels.
Notably, the percentage of high-risk players dropped to 15.6%, down from 17% in the previous iteration, compared to the overall industry average of 17.3%. Additionally, only 15.6% of players underestimated their risk level, aligning with previous campaign data and slightly above the broader average of 15.2%.
One significant shift observed was a decrease in normal loss sensitivity, with 51.7% of players exhibiting normal responses to losses, down from 61% in the previous campaign. This suggests a shift in player behavior during this iteration of the initiative.
