During this year’s ICE, CEO Betina Glatz-Kremser told about her intention to leave the ECA, which led to ECA board’s rearrangement.

Not long ago Erwin van Lambaart was appointed the chief executive officer of Casinos Austria, after he transferred from Holland Casino. Now E. van Lambaart is appointed as the new CEO, after B. Glatz-Kremser resigned.

Now, E. van Lambaart’s job will be performed by Pieter Boers, who is Holland Casino’s Vice President of Gaming and Services. P. Boers became a member of the ECA board for that reason.

ECO’s chairman Per Jaldung expressed his opinion on B. Glatz-Kremser’s choice:

“B. Glatz-Kremser’s role was vital, especially throughout the past 2 years, when land-based casinos faced many difficulties in the time of Coronavirus.”

“I wish her all the best, and it is ECO’s duty to acknowledge her for everything she has done for the casino industry. I await the time when we will work together again in the future․”

Later he added that he wanted to congratulate E. van Lambaart.

“As a Member of ECA Board, I await to keep on our close business relations. In addition, I warmly welcome Pieter Boers, our latest Board member. His contribution is most desirable for Europe’s land-based casino market during these crucial times.”
