Flutter reports 37% revenue rise for 2021

Flutter announced its revenue accounting for £6.04bln, which demonstrates a rise of 37% for 2021.

The operator finds that the increase was due to the collaboration with The Stars Group in the previous year. EBITDA had a fall by 6 percent amounting to £723mln. The reason behind the decrease is the US investment and global regulatory changes.

The company ended the year with net debt of £2.65bln. According to the operator, the first two months of 2022 fulfilled expectations by the rise of revenue with 2 percent and is anticipated to increase further.

The head of Flutter, Peter Jackson, noted:

“The previous year was rather successful for us, as we managed to record advancement in our strategic plan. Our company increased its customer base reaching more than 7.6mln customers”.

“Flutter launched its ‘Positive impact Plan’ the day before, which is built up for positive changes in safer gambling”.

Jackson further added that he was satisfied with the results they recorded during 2021 and that he was waiting for future advancement of the company.
