PayPal uses Gamban to block gambling transactions
PayPal, world’s biggest online payment system, introduced blocking solution by Gamban for the residents of the United States and Great Britain to block virtual wagering transactions.
The transaction blocking includes chance or skill games which have entry price and award. In addition, slot and table games have been considered as well.
Blocking solution is also utilized in transactions of sports wagering, lotteries and in-person wagering.
Customers are able to ban websites that give wagering tips, bet-placing mediators or other wagering-related forums.
Gamban praises the introduction of PayPal to block wagering transactions saying:
“You are able to get your recovery chance while blocking transactions with PayPal, blocking live gaming with Gamban and searching for assistance with GamCare”.
In 2019, PayPal reviewed its payment terms and conditions after receiving complaints that it got utilized for excessive virtual wagering.
