PointsBet to operate with new marketing tactic

PointsBet has made few changes in the marketing department and as a result the brand is going to stop their previous strategy of “promos and ad blitzes”.

Recent changes are the following: Ansley O’Neal, is appointed as the new VP of brand strategy and marketing, and Josh Powell takes on the role of director of brand marketing.

During the past 7 years A. O’Neal has worked for the International Olympic Committee. At PointsBet she will be in control of marketing strategies and the creation and implementation of the brand. As a part of her new responsibilities, she will also report everything to CMO of the brand, Kyle Christensen.

J. Powell is an industry professional who worked for Paddy Power for 5 years and then joined The Tenth Man. He will be designing and executing campaigns around sports betting.

“We are happy that O’Neal and Powell are joining us while we work on growing in the US market. We are moving away from the “promos and ad blitzes”, as we will be using new marketing strategies to increase the fan’s experience of live sport and to expand betting opportunities in the states.”

commented K. Christensen.
