The ex-president and founder of YGAM Lee Willows launches a non-profit venture — ESG Gaming to grapple with safer wagering challenges.

Having been established with Better Change’s partnership, ESG’s objective is to focus on three key areas regarding igaming and wagering.

Willows and Vicki Reed, the co-founder of Better Change, pinpointed that the venture will adopt evidence-based approach in the delivery of sager wagering research.

Another key focus of ESG is the training and inspiring of the youth aged 21-30, who are inclined to build their career in the gaming market. It started to engage with igaming operators and stockholders to assist in diversifying safer wagering training and augment current methodologies of research.

Willows established the charity of YGAM in 2014 with the aim of educating and safeguarding the youth against gambling harms. He left it in 2021 to concentrate on new research projects regarding international betting space. The Charity is now directed by Dr Jane Rigby.

Willows posted an update on LinkedIn, which read:

“I decided to stay in the sector of gambling and found a non-profit venture — ESG Gaming with 3 focal points of esports, igaming careers, as well as safer betting research.

Further he mentioned that he would continue his learning together with his studies and thanked for all the support he’d received.
