AffPapa recently interviewed Anastasiia Shcherbyna, the CMO at Melbet Partners. Anastasiia covered the company’s strategic marketing efforts and their focus on transparency, highlighting the benefits of Melbet’s affiliate program, the top-performing GEOs, and the support provided to new affiliates.

Yeva: Melbet has established a strong presence in the iGaming industry. Can you talk about the strategic role that marketing has played in this? 

Our team’s marketing efforts are aimed both at developing and expanding our partner program and maintaining relationships with those who already cooperate with Melbat. We are constantly expanding the network of our partners. The basis of our interaction is transparency, strict adherence to agreements, and gratitude. Partners help to develop our product. For this purpose, Melbet needs to stand out and surprise.

Our company is present at most trade exhibitions, where our affiliate managers are available in person to address any questions you may have. In 2024, Melbet has already organized 3 affiliate parties and sponsored ten trade events. We do this to thank our partners for their trust, work, and commitment to our brand. For Melbet, material interaction is not enough; we also want to create unforgettable experiences and pleasant memories.

Yeva: Anastasiia, tell us three reasons why affiliates should choose to work with Melbet Partners. 

Company stability, prompt payouts, and a diverse range of GEOs and offers—Melbet has been a prominent player in the iGaming market for over 12 years, well-regarded by both affiliate teams and players. Our affiliate program ensures timely and prompt payments, with a well-established and efficient traffic verification process. Our portfolio includes over 40 GEOs, making it one of the highest figures in the market.

Yeva: Which GEOs are currently performing best at Melbet?

I would advise partners to pay attention to our offers in African countries, specifically in the MENA region. Both the rates and the conversion ratio are quite interesting there.

Yeva: How do you assist new affiliates looking to partner with Melbet? 

Our affiliate managers’ expertise is primarily dedicated to assisting new partners. With extensive experience across various regions, they are prepared to share insights into regional specifics, review creative projects, and recommend adjustments to enhance campaign results.

Melbet also offers test budgets and conditions for new affiliates, which can be discussed with their affiliate and support manager.

Yeva: What are some of the challenges you face in marketing? Especially in terms of regulation, audience engagement and differentiation considering the highly competitive market. 

Our partners operate in more countries than the product is available. Generally, we do not encounter regulatory difficulties with our affiliate program—over many years in the market, Melbet has established systematic and strict rules for defining cooperation terms.

Our team views the high competition in the affiliate marketing market not as a challenge but as an inspiration for new ideas and brand innovations.

Yeva: Effective communications with partners and players is extremely important in our industry. How do you incorporate their feedback into Melbet’s marketing strategies?

Partner feedback is crucial in shaping our future activities, changes, and efforts. We integrate their insights into both product development and engagement strategies.

Melbet prioritizes not only the material aspects but also the mental well-being of our affiliates’ experience with the brand. If the relationship between the manager and the affiliate is not mutually comfortable, we will assign a different contact person from our side. Our goal is to ensure that cooperation is both comfortable and enjoyable.

Yeva: What does it look like to work at Melbet Partners? Can you give us a brief behind-the-scenes?

Being part of Melbet means working in a team dedicated to achieving the best results, setting ambitious goals, and maintaining a dynamic pace of progress. For instance, concerning specialized exhibitions, our team follows the principle of never repeating a stand. This approach requires constant creativity to continually surprise and delight our partners.

Melbet can sometimes feel like a hive of thousands of people working toward a common goal, with each individual playing his specific role. This vision is embodied in our brand’s new image, and we are pleased that the rebranding has been well-received by our partners and other industry players.

Yeva: Anastasiia, how long have you been in the iGaming industry? What drew you to jump onboard with Melbet?

I have been in the iGaming industry for over 3 years and in affiliate marketing for more than 8. A year ago, I was tasked with an ambitious goal: to enhance the visibility of Melbet’s affiliate programs and better showcase our efforts in working with affiliates. This challenge aligned perfectly with my personal ambitions, and I joined the Melbet team, which I am proud to be a part of.
