Kindred Group extends deal with Women in Racing

Kindred Group is prolonging its contract with Women in Racing (WIR), a network aiming to develop women’s profile in horse racing.

Based on the contract, Kindred will fund the “Racing Home” program, which is made for educating stakeholders on parenthood and motherhood. Via 32Red and Unibet they will help the participants of the races who are working parents.

This program also has educational purposes. They will be releasing a new broadcast, which will help women come back to racing after maternity leave.

“We are honored to be working with Kindred and to be releasing our “Racing Home” program. With our work we acknowledge the challenges that working parents face in horse racing. Our studies of 2 years took us in tandem with Simply Racing and having stakeholders to make better solutions that will support many. We believe that these programs will help to change lives.”

commented the head of WIR, T. Lewis.

“We think it is crucial to provide workers with a positive environment and a chance to balance family life as we are sure this will help them to be more productive and work better. We are honored to be working with Women in Racing and to support working parents of horse racing. Our plans match with ‘Racing Home’ as we aim to have a fifty/fifty gender split.”

added CEO of Kindred, H. Tjärnström.
