Andrew Lindley to leave Sportech

Recently it was stated that Andrew Lindley, the chief executive officer of Sportech is departing from his job.

A. Lindley took on his role earlier in autumn of 2021.

It is not clear specifically when he is going to leave the company, but it was stated that he is still going to continue performing his duties in the next few months.

It is known that Andrew will not take part in the re-election of the brand’s director during today’s (May 31) Annual general meeting.

In their statement Sportech thanked Lindley for everything he had done for the company during his time.

They also announced that non-executive chairperson, Richard McGuire, will take the role of executive chairperson.

Those appointments are the result of many executives leaving their roles.

Sportech also reported the results of this year’s financial performance, which shows that the brand keeps growing.

Sportech also faces some low results as Parimutuel betting and F&B still feel the effects of the coronavirus and pandemic.

In case of online performance, the record online growth of pari-mutuel bets during the epidemic has declined as the impact of new online gambling in Connecticut has affected the discretionary gambling dollar accessible for historical products of Sportech.

The board is sure that Sportech is going to achieve all their goals by the end of this financial year.
