Betsson hires Glasfors to sharpen sustainability efforts
Betsson has named Roland Glasfors as the new vice president to lead sustainability efforts and more, entering the company’s management team.
Glasfors, who will be in charge of the company’s communications efforts as well as lead sustainability, and investor relations, will officially join the team on May 2nd.
Glasfors discussed how Betsson’s recent business moves have led the brand to explore and develop internationally. He continued, saying:
“The company has indeed made substantial moves in recent years to have sustainability join its mission, establishing optimum environment for ensuring a responsible and efficient business model for fair and competitive gaming marketplaces”
The new appointee recently acted as the director of investor relations at Trustly, bringing a wealth of expertise to the table. That’s in addition to his background in corporate communications and strategy while still at NetEnt. Glasfors has also worked in stock sales in the Swedish market and all around the globe.
Lindwall, CEO at Betsson, stated:
“Roland’s extensive expertise of financial markets and corporate communications will be particularly valuable to all of us. Another asset is his game industry experience.”
With Roland on board, the company can strive to enhance its rate of sustainable activities, according to Lindwall.
