The Star Entertainment Group chose Ben Heap as a temporary chairperson and Geoff Hogg as acting chief executive officer.

These new appointments happened after many c level executives stepped down from their roles during this month. In this case these new replacements follow J.  O’Neill’s departure, who announced that he is going to leave not only his position but also the board.

The brand stated that O’Neill, who was temporarily replacing M. Bekier after he left his role, is going to work until the end of May and then he is going to leave in orderly manner.

The Star started looking for a new and permanent chief executive offer from April.

At the moment, G. Hogg is the CCO of New South Wales and Queensland. All the announcements about him will be made before he takes on his new role.

Rearrangements in the board took place against the backdrop of an ongoing review of Star Sydney Casino’s license compliance group. Earlier in may the group banned all domestic and international discount gaming programs, while confirming its dedication not to engage in immorality.

These positions are going to be effective starting from June 1st.
