Mark Stebbings will be bringing his nearly three-decade-long career at Betfred to an end.

Having originally joined the operator almost three decades ago, Stebbings has had a lengthy tenure at the company, contributing significantly to its growth over the years. He started at Betfred as a shop manager for one of the operator’s establishments in its home market of the United Kingdom, from where Stebbings worked his way to his current position.

The outgoing COO announced his resignation on Linkedin, where he thanked his colleagues and Betfred owner Fred Done for his time at the company. Stebbings will be exiting the firm at the end of this month.

The outgoing COO remarked:

“Following almost three decades of working at Betfred, it is time for my departure. I would like to thank the team behind Betfred and especially Fred Done, who was an excellent mentor and helped immensely on my journey from a shop manager to the business’s COO. I am certain that Betfred will continue to expand over the foreseeable future, and I would like to with the company and its team the best.”

At the time of writing, Betfred has not yet commented on Stebbings’s departure and has not yet announced who will be replacing him in the position of the COO.
