Christian Uhrenholt Joins Gentoo Media as CFO
Gentoo Media appointed Christian Uhrenholt as their new CFO, starting in his position on August 1.
This appointment was made on account of GiG’s intentions to secure its affiliate business positioning as Gentoo Media prepares for its future expansion. GiG stated that Uhrenholt adds unique qualifications to his post as CFO. He is now the head of corporate finance at Semler Gruppen A/S in Copenhagen.
Gentoo Media CEO and acting group CEO of GiG Jonas Warrer said:
“Christian’s appointment is another significant step forward for Gentoo Media, helping us reach the high growth targets we have set for the business. I am confident that his arrival will bolster the leading position we have in iGaming affiliation.”
Uhrenholt will be in charge of developing Gentoo Media’s finance division and assisting with the company’s overall strategic growth, which will include investor relations and M&A.
Uhrenholt continued, expressing his excitement in joining Gentoo Media at this point in the company’s journey:
“The strong ambitions in the business are notable, and I am dedicated to further supporting the continued evolution of the business, cementing Gentoo Media’s leading position in the industry.”
The companies will formally split in the second half of 2024, although Warrer just disclosed that they are essentially operating independently already.
