Scientific Games rebrands as Light & Wonder
Scientific Games chooses a new name to operate under — Light & Wonder.
Prior to the rebranding, the company conducted a set of strategic improvements throughout the recent months. SG strives for taking the leader’s position in the international cross-platform gaming industry. Besides, it’s inclined to sell its lottery and sports wagering assets.
Light & Wonder’s CEO, Barry Cottle, noted:
“Light & Wonder is happy to continue its operations and build new innovative titles and products for its customers. Our new strategy needed a new name to define our potential and fantastic products”.
The new name was decided throughout the process of building the business’s strategic plan. It demonstrates the creation of new content and hardware to make games available across any area or channel.

Cottle went on saying.
Light and Wonder owns a new website which offers gaming products, hardware and other services. It will perform under its new name as soon as the rebranding processes are completed in Q2 of 2022.
