Sportradar agreed to prolong its current integrity deal with Brazilian Football Confederation for further 3 years.

The collaboration of the 2 companies was established in 2017.

Under the extended deal, Sportradar will carry out monitoring for more Brazilian football matches. Besides, the extension will see the inclusion of Universal Fraud Detection System by Sportradar.

In general, around 3000 games that the Confederation had sanctioned, is to be monitored annually, incorporating monitoring Serie C and Serie D competitions.

The managing director at Sportradar noted:

“We laud the role of CBF on preventive campaigns as we’ve seen the increasing integrity problems in international sport recently. Due to this continuous collaboration, we can’t wait to work closely with CBF”.

Based on the deal, Sportradar is to supply 3 live integrity workshops for trainers, employees and players to educate on integrity issues.

The extension follows the vote by Brazilian Deputies on legalization of live and retail betting on February 23.

The acting president of CBF, Ednaldo Rodrigues, mentioned:

“Our collaboration contributes to implementation of our objectives of Brazilian football protection”.

Sportradar established several integrity contracts in the current year, incorporating the contracts with US Football League and Athletes Unlimited.
