Sportradar’s Alpha Odds enhances UEFA betting profits

Sportradar developed a system known as Alpha Odds to assist betting companies in more accurate sporting event outcome prediction using advanced AI technology.

Thanks to this technology, the bookmakers made 15% more money during the Qualifying Matches for the UEFA European Championship. As the approaching UEFA Euro-2024 Championship is expected to raise over €62.2 billion in worldwide stakes, Sportradar advertises Alpha Odds as a way for betting operators to increase their profits while also improving risk management.

A senior executive at Sportradar, Darren Small, mentioned that the effectiveness of Alpha Odds in predicting game results is a real deal, particularly in soccer betting with prospects of great improvement of betting companies’ earnings in the next summer tournament.

In 2022, Alpha Odds were introduced. They combine real-time data and forecasts so as to generate personalized betting odds that in addition to the existing ones, consider risks and liabilities facing betting firms. This came in handy at the time when the qualifiers of UEFA Euro 2024 were going on management bets in such a way that they changed according to time CLV, despite changes in the behavior of the game-play like scoring few goals by one team or more goals scored by another team.

Later in the year, Sportradar intends to spread the use of Alpha Odds sportsbook to other sporting events such as basketball while also kick-starting a new partnership to improve on tennis betting experiences by January 2025.
