Churchill Downs and NYRA trade the businesses of United Tote
Churchill Downs came to terms with the NYRA Content Management Solutions, and decided to put forty-nine percent of United Tote on sale.
Before 2022 comes to an end the contract between Churchill Downs and NYRA is going to happen in accordance with some features such as
- closing terms,
- applicable regulatory notices,
- approvals.
Furthermore, the pari-mutuel business of United Tote is going to be kept away from the deal and continue to stay with CDI.
the companies are starting to cooperate with one another in order to create an extensive, effective and top-class pari-mutuel solution by United Tote, meaning that they are going to expand horse-racing into gambling platforms in order to engage more clients.
While waiting to be approved by regulators, NYRA is going to transfer its pari-mutuel wager processing to United Tote during the following year.
The announcement about this news was made after CD issued its new strategy to transform the brand during future.
