Parimatch reveals new supervisory board for expansion plans
Parimatch has unveiled its new supervisory board which will be in charge of its expansion plans, as current CEO Sergey Portnov will be vacating his position in order to serve as the chair of the new board.
Those newly-appointed to the board include Marek Šmrha as a non-executive board consultant, and Katerina Belorusskaya who has been working for Parimatch since 2011 and is now a stakeholder. The current CEO of Parimatch will also be vacating his position and serving as the chairman of this new board.
Roman Syrotian and Maksym Liashko have both been recruited as co-CEOs and will also have roles within the board. They will be splitting the responsibilities of the position on both of them, with Syrotian focusing on IT, marketing and product and Liashko tackling legal, finance and communication roles.
“For Roman and me, a dual CEO structure is a logical move and consolidation of the company’s growth directions. We know our areas well, and we will do everything to implement the company’s plans to enter the next level of development.”
Roman Syrotian further noted:
“Being already in excellent shape today, Parimatch has ambitions of achieving top positions on the markets all over the world. I hope to contribute to this goal by ensuring that we provide our customers with the highest quality entertainment and services.”
Earlier this month, Parimatch revealed a new promotional deal with Reface, the Ukrainian AI app, in the Parimatch x Reface challenge on social media. Last month, the firm also acquired the first ever sports betting licence in Ukraine after the country’ gambling act took effect back in August.
