In AffPapa‘s latest installment of iGaming Voice, the Founder of BitCasinoRank, Road Lexx, shared his insights on the future of cryptocurrencies in the gambling sector and talked a bit about why he chose the niche as the main point of focus for his company.

Yeva: As we begin our interview, I think it would be valuable to introduce BitCasinoRank to our readers. Could you provide an overview of what it offers, as well as what sets itself apart from its competitors?

BitCasinoRank is a comprehensive platform that offers a wide selection of crypto casinos for crypto gamblers. It stands out from its competitors due to its commitment to providing accurate and truthful information about its selections. Unlike other websites that may list casinos under a certain cryptocurrency option without verifying their payment options, BitCasinoRank ensures that its listings are reliable and up-to-date.

Yeva: What drove you to focus BitCasinoRank mainly on crypto gambling when founding it, Road? If you were to do it again, is there anything you would like to do differently?

When I first started, I decided to make a website on as narrow a topic as possible to make it easier to compete. I knew a little bit about crypto and this area seemed promising to me. So I decided to combine two topics in which I knew something and created Bitcasinorank.

If I were to start over, I would do a lot of things differently. I didn’t know much about building websites, it was my first experience, so I made a lot of mistakes that I’m still cleaning up. Most of them are mostly related to SEO.

Yeva: What are some of the challenges and unique aspects of predominantly reviewing crypto-focused operators and games?

I wouldn’t say that doing reviews of crypto casinos or games is harder than regular ones, so there are no challenges. On the contrary, in a sense, it is easier because crypto brands operate in most countries, you have seen all available payment methods at once and do not need to look for additional information about it elsewhere.

Yeva: What is BitCasinoRank’s process of selecting which casinos, games, or bonuses to review on its website?

When I decide whether to work with a particular brand, I look at whether it can offer exactly what my website users are interested in. If the casino can be placed in many categories or they can offer an exclusive offer to get into a certain section, then I am open to negotiations.

Also, I can be the first to write to brands with an offer of cooperation if I know that someone will be a good fit for a particular section of the site.

Yeva: Given that BitCasinoRank focuses mainly on a prominent and expanding industry trend, what is the company’s strategy for others, especially emerging ones?

At the moment, I am focusing only on crypto gambling and do not plan to do anything else on the BitCoinRank website. I believe that the site should be as thematic as possible, and it is better to create other sites for other areas of gambling, which is what I am doing.

Yeva: Where do you think the future of crypto is headed in the gambling sector? What do you think is the biggest hurdle to its mass adoption, and what can the industry do to eliminate it?

In my opinion, cryptocurrencies will be used more in the gambling sector. We can already see this even now, when every new casino licensed in Curacao has cryptocurrencies as a means of payment. I am sure that in the near future we will see cryptocurrencies in more strict jurisdictions, such as the UK and Sweden.

At present, the still uncertain legal status of cryptocurrencies in most countries stands in the way. However, based on the example of the largest crypto exchange Binance, we see that the entire industry is moving towards regulation, so sooner or later cryptocurrencies will be available in any casino.

Yeva: Where would you like to see BitCasinoRank in about a decade, Road? Do you have any goals in mind that you would like to accomplish in that timeframe?

A decade is a huge period for me. I have been in the gambling industry since 2017, and I have been working on the website since 2020. So anything can happen in ten years. Most likely I will not own the site by that time. Right now I’m focused on a new project that I’m really excited about, so I don’t pay as much attention to this site.

But anything is possible, and I am considering actively taking up the development of BitcasinoRank when I have more time, and who knows, maybe in ten years it will be the number one site in the field of crypto gambling!

Yeva: To close off our interview, I hope you won’t mind if we get a bit off-topic, Road. What do you like doing in your spare time?

I have a lot of hobbies, which is probably why my websites are not so successful:)

I love video games, and if I really like a game, I can easily get lost in it for 100 hours. The last game that lost too much of my time was “Hades”. I read quite a bit and I’m a huge fan of George Martin’s “The Song of Ice and Fire”. I also like to cook and play a little guitar.
