EGT Interactive speaks of challenges with newest slot 20 Golden Coins
Yordan Georgiev, the Senior product manager at EGT Interactive, recently sat down for an interview and provided some hefty information on the newest game released by the software provider.
He first explained that the new release is a classic fruit slot, that has 5 reels and 20 fixed lines. However, this slot also has some brand new interesting features along with it, really setting it apart from the usual fruit slot. He mentioned that the slot was created specifically for players who enjoy the classic fruit slots, with a twist that includes new music and background animations to really attract the players.
EGT believes the release of this new title is an “outstanding achievement”, since the company created the title completely on its own, from scratch, really allowing the team to put their talent to good use.
When asked about the challenges faced during the development stages of the slot, the product manager said:
Initially, we had an idea of what we were supposed to deliver as a game and what features it would have. However, during the implementation phase, we had some cases that weren’t 100% covered in the design phase. Therefore, we had to take quick actions and decisions to keep to the deadline without risking the quality of the end product. There was a lot of back and forth between design/ sound/implementation and the product team to achieve the final result. This was something new for us as we had the game ready in the land-base, we just needed to transfer the behaviour to online.
He also went on to speak of the factors that distinguish this new slot from all the other new releases currently on the market. Georgiev said that the biggest difference comes from the two new bonus symbols and the mystery nudge, noting that the Golden Coin symbols vary in value. This means that a higher bet brings higher values. Another added feature in the slot is a piggy bank feature, which shows up on the fifth reel and allows the player to gather the coins that are showing up on the screen.
Georgiev closed off the interview by mentioning how this new release is different from the older games released by the company, stating that the new title has a deluxe and elegant soundtrack, a modern and cutting-edge design and a new spin on classic slots.
