FSB records near 40% increase in Cheltenham bets

The recent Cheltenham Festival was quite successful for FSB, as the number of combined bets through its platform increased by 38% year-over-year.

In addition to the headline growth figure, the provider’s platform also saw a 45% increase in active player numbers. This led to a record revenue figure for FSB and a 5% higher turnover rate during the event in comparison to the period during 2022’s Cheltenham Festival.

The provider worked with numerous dedicated horse racing-focused betting brands over the course of the event and deployed a number of new platform offerings, such as its forecast betting and Bet Boost products, which further helped the firm achieve its success.

FSB’s Trading and Sportsbook Director, Mark Wilson, commented on the firm’s performance:

“As we focus more on our sportsbook services and have a lot of experience working with horse racing events, the results from the latest Cheltenham Festival are quite exciting for us. Managing to achieve substantial growth in numerous key areas during the event is a clear indication of our dedication to delivering top-notch and, most importantly, top-performing solutions to our clients. Now, we are eagerly waiting for the upcoming Grand National event next month, as we are certain that we will continue delivering excellent performances for our customers.”

These results come a month after FSB entered the North American market with a thoroughbred racing-focused local partner, signifying a healthy period of growth for the sports wagering provider.
