In accordance with a leaked letter, the Gambling Commission is investing ten different suicides as there is a possibility that they are connected to the betting industry.

The commission is reaching out to different operators, casinos and bookmakers asking them to help find more information about why those ten people committed suicides. Commission chiefs are trying to find out if those individuals had any accounts opened with any gambling companies.

It is known that Joey Beauchamp, a former football player, was among the people who took their lives. The footballer was found dead earlier in February. According to some sources Beauchamp had a few rough years in his life as he lost his mother and he was suffering with gambling addiction. Before he took his own life he sought support from mental health services.

Furthermore, it is believed that this letter was sent to a few owners of famous gambling companies, such as Betfair and Paddy Powers. According to the letter the ex footballer is one of those ten people whose deaths might have been caused by gambling.

Hence, those brands were asked to review their database to see if there are any records of these people.
