Recently the Gambling Commission in the United Kingdom stated that they are planning to present the new licensing operation system.

The ongoing system gives every operator an account manager, but the Gambling Commission will change this system as the demand keeps growing. The updated system will have 4  sub-groups and each of them will work on the different phases of the license process.

The sub-groups are the ones mentioned below:

  1. Operating Licence New Group,
  2. Change of Corporate Control Group,
  3. Operating Licence Vary Group,
  4. Personal Licence Group.

The first group is going to take care of the requests of the new operators. The second group has to process the applications that need to undergo some adjustments which are connected both to the ownership and control. The third one is going to be accountable for applications that need changes in terms of current licenses, and finally the fourth one is going to be in charge of personal licenses applications.

Gambling Commission stated that broader application will end but the applying process is going to stay unchanged. Though the commission is not going to accept any more applications through post.

“We are making changes in our way of working so that we can make use of our resources in the best way possible. We believe that this is how we can go through the process of application faster. Besides, we are hopeful that we can solve queries in a more effective way.”

the Gambling Commission highlighted in their statement.
