GREF launches AML working group

GREF has recently enhanced its AML efforts by launching a dedicated working group.

The regulatory forum’s board has recently made the decision to launch the new working group as part of GREF’s commitment to fighting against money laundering in the European gambling industry. The establishment of the new group also highlights the forum’s collaborative approach to matters in the industry, further strengthening the sector’s reputation and integrity.

The new group will be led by MGA’s Rachel Bezzina and the ANJ’s Christophe Vidal, who will serve as its new co-chairs. The new group will be joining the forum’s portfolio of four working groups that are aimed at various important issues and other matters in the industry, including responsible gambling, innovation in the digital sector, and regulatory enforcement. Each of GREF’s groups serves an important role in the forum’s efforts toward ensuring the European gambling sector’s safety and growth.

This announcement follows a couple of weeks after GREF announced an expanded collaboration with NAGRA, the association of various gambling regulators across the North American region, further enhancing the working relationship between the two major industry organizations.
