Kambi CEO Kristian Nylen to resign

Kambi’s Chief Executive, Kristian Nylen, has announced he will be leaving his position.

Nylen’s resignation announcement follows shortly after the firm’s Board proposed to appoint him as a Director during the firm’s forthcoming AGM, which the outgoing CEO has already accepted. Nylen has been the CEO of Kambi since founding the company with Anders Strom more than a decade ago in 2010.

Kambi’s outgoing CEO commented:

“Making this decision to bring my lengthy and successful tenure as Kambi’s CEO to an end has been quite challenging. As the firm’s co-founder, I am excited to accept the Board’s proposal to become a member during Kambi’s forthcoming AGM. Following my appointment as a director, I will be looking forward to focusing my efforts on the company’s strategic objectives and challenges.”

Kambi’s Board Chairman, Anders Strom, remarked:

“Kristian has played a vital role in helping Kambi achieve its leading industry position in the highly competitive betting sector. I am excited that the Board has proposed to appoint him as a director, through which he will be able to continue contributing to the success of Kambi in the future.”

Nylen will officially resign from his position at Kambi once the company finds an appropriate successor to him. The firm will initiate the search for its new CEO imminently.
