MGA renews agreement with AGCC

The MGA has recently renewed its collaboration agreement with the AGCC.

The agreement in question is a Memorandum of Understanding, through which the two regulatory authorities enhance their working relationship and cooperative efforts. The MoU was initially signed between the two bodies just over a decade ago in 2013, with its recently updated version aiming to further enhance the collaboration between the MGA and the AGCC and to enable both authorities to carry out their responsibilities more effectively.

The Chief Executive of the MGA, Carl Brincat, commented:

“Renewing our MoU with the AGCC is a further testament to our dedication to ensuring the safety of the online gambling space across borders, which is shared with our partners in Alderney.”

The AGCC’s Executive Director, Andrew Gellatly, remarked:

“By extending our MoU with the MGA, we are eager to further enhance our excellent working relationship, which is benefitting both gambling enthusiasts and various industry stakeholders.”

The renewal of the agreement between the AGCC and the MGA is a further testament to the two authorities’ recognition of the importance of international collaborations between regulators, with the two bodies sharing many common strategic goals, including the protection of gamblers and the prevention of various types of crimes that seek to take advantage of gambling operators.
