Michael Gerrow: Catena Media’s new CFO
Michael Gerrow has been appointed as Catena Media‘s new Group Chief Financial Officer.
Gerrow takes on his new responsibilities on the fifteenth of April of this year.
With Peter Messner‘s retirement in May 2023, Erik Edeen served in a temporary role as the Group CFO. Gerrow will take over for him.
Gerrow brings a wealth of experience and four years of Catena Media experience to his new role. He began working for the company in April of 2020 and has handled several financial-related roles since joining the Malta-based operations. In his most recent role, he was the Vice President of Finance, overseeing the company’s financial planning and analysis division located in Miami.
As Group CFO, Gerrow will supervise Catena Media’s financial operations and strategies, guaranteeing the stability and well-being of the company’s finances. His selection is a testament to Catena Media’s dedication to bolstering its executive management group with talented and seasoned executives.
In order to facilitate a smooth transition of responsibilities, Erik Edeen, the interim Group CFO who is leaving, will carry on providing strategic consulting services to Catena Media.
In reaction to Gerrow’s appointment, Pierre Cadena, Catena Media’s acting CEO, expressed his confidence in Gerrow’s ability to manage the business’s financial operations, citing his extensive background and understanding of such operations. The strategic consistency that Gerrow’s appointment to Group CFO will bring to Catena Media’s top management team, Cadena stressed, will help the company maintain its growth trajectory.
