PointsBet to open its first office in Dublin

PointsBet has launched a new office in Dublin as part of its effort to establish itself as a market leader in Europe.

The new HQ is situated in The Liberties area of Dublin and will initially have seventy staff members working there, including product managers, developers and more. In an official statement, PointsBet confirmed that they have plans to hire more workers in the coming years.

“I am sure that during the coming 3-5 years we will have 200-300 workers in our office in Dublin. I believe that our brand needs to keep expanding in Dublin, which will lead us to a successful business.”

highlighted J. Aitken, the chief executive officer of PointsBet USA.

Even though PointsBet doesn’t provide any betting services in the European market at the moment, last year the brand purchased Banach Technology, a Dublin-based software provider.

The operator will most definitely provide European people with betting services in the near future, though the CEO stated that the Dublin headquarters is mainly for improving their services across the US, Canadian and Australian markets.

Later, Aitken added that as their company keeps expanding in more US states and Canadian provinces, their team will equally grow to meet the requirements of new opportunities.
