Rowan Ellis to Be Named New Interim CFO at XLMedia

The market-leading digital publishing group – XLMedia is to appoint Rowan Ellis new CFO after Iain Balchin’s departure by the end of July.

Iain Balchin had entered the XLMedia Group just a year and a half ago, making outstanding progress in that short span during the company’s buyouts of Sports Betting Dime and CBWG Sports.

Rowan Ellis, on the other end, has been taking up the position of the financial consultant in the group since spring this year, and is said to be appointed new chief financial officer on 22nd of July.

Ellis has been assisting the XLMedia company in its Mergers and Acquisitions strategy, as well as during the acquisition of the aforementioned affairs.

XLMedia’s non-executive chairperson – Chris Bell, commented on the decision:

“As a representative of our team at XLMedia, I would like to show my gratefulness to Iain for the immense part he played in our collective journey, and we wish him a prosperous future further in his career.

Having thought this decision in and out, we have concluded that Ellis is the perfect candidate for this position, taking into account his experience in the field and in our board.”

The former CFO’s exit comes as a continuation after XLMedia’s appointment of Nigel Leigh as CIO.
