Leading sports data provider – Statscore extends agreement with Poland’s Fortuna 2nd-tier football league for 2 more years.

The deal first started last year, where Statscore gained access to operating from the liga’s arenas and collecting all types of sport data freely, which included reports of any rule violations, red and yellow cards, comparisons and other game-related information, all of which have been updated and made more detailed by the data provider.

Statscore’s Chief Executive Officer, Tomasz Myalski explained:

“The affiliation with the second league is a crucial one in our objective of showcasing to the world how incredible sport-related stories can be made using sports data.”

According to the data provider, the stories will be demonstrated in a form of eye-catching and creative infographics. From the liga’s side of the deal, the second-tier league will incorporate Statscore’s Team Centres on their website, for their fans to access the data.

Fortuna’s chairperson, Marcin Janicki also said about the deal:

“We are thrilled to continue our affiliation with Statscore, knowing how much the football fans appreciate the access to sports data, which has been proved during these almost two years of our team efforts.”
