The Crown Sydney will open a new gaming floor
It was reported that next month Crown Resorts is going to open Sydney Casino’s gaming floor.
A month ago Crown received an approval from gaming authorities for Sydney Casino, and on August 8 will be the official opening of Crystal Room gaming floor. It is known that the gaming zone will have a hundred and sixty gaming tables and seventy electronic gaming tables.
Initially the resort was supposed to open the gaming floor back in 2020 for 2.2 billion Australian dollars, but it was prevented as the Crown was accused of money laundering and several crimes. As a result of this situation, The Crown was reported to be unfit for holding a casino license.
After being taken over by Blackstone and rearranging the members of the board The Crown obtained the needed license for its casino.
“Opening this zone at Crown Sydney is a great moment for us, as it is the result of our team’s hard work. For a really long time our whole company has been getting ready for this special moment. Now we feel like the symbolic 08.08 date is a perfect timing for us.”
commented the chief executive officer of the resort, S. McCann.
“Our entire team is dedicated to always providing safer gambling. Our gaming facility is designed with governance and compliance. This casino is unique, and it’s the only one in Australia. All the sponsors need to be a member and go through a comprehensive check.”
