Safer Gambling Week messages have reached more than 50 million impressions across the UK.

The initiative is held on an annual basis and involves all of the United Kingdom’s licensed gambling operators, which allocate an expanded portion of their resources to promoting responsible gambling behaviors. Its latest edition was concluded recently at the end of last week, during which participating firms and organizations were able to generate more than 50 million impressions for the initiative.

Surpassing 50 million impressions represents an increase of more than 70% when compared to the initiative’s reach last year. Its latest edition also generated over 500 thousand visits to the program’s official website, where British gambling enthusiasts can learn more about responsible gambling and access various tools to help them enjoy the pastime in a safe and sustainable manner.

Moreover, the week’s latest edition was also backed by several other entities in the sports and gambling sectors, such as numerous football clubs and the country’s gambling regulator, the UKGC. Various UK parliament members showcased their support for the initiative as well, including the minister of gambling, Stuart Andrew.
