Affiliates to be spotlighted at Canadian Gaming Summit
The forthcoming installment of the Canadian Gaming Summit will be covering numerous affiliate topics with a specialized track.
The event’s Affiliates and Advertising track will explore a variety of topics that will help affiliates use the best strategies and practices to take advantage of the growing Canadian iGaming sector.
The track will begin on the event’s last day with a discussion on how affiliate firms can achieve a successful market launch in Canada. Featuring panelists like Better Collective’s JD McNamara, Covers’ Andrew Garven, and Betting Hero’s Cassie Brickman, the panel will cover how affiliates need to tailor their operations to succeed in the country and how they can understand what offers local players are most likely to be interested in.
Next up, the event will feature a discussion on the place of data in the affiliate side of the industry as part of the track. Experts like PointsBet’s Dave Rivers, Xtremepush’s Kevin Collins, and Fanatics’ Kay Savage will discuss how data can be used to enhance player engagement and retention statistics and will share their insights on the lessons operators can learn from other technology-reliant industries such as social media and eCommerce about the prominence of data.
A discussion on maximizing the effectiveness of industry advertisements will follow after the lunch break. It will cover the response of Ontarians to the massive surge in gambling advertisements and will share the results of a recent report that studied the efficacy of industry promotions in the province. This discussion will feature two executives from Ipsos, the organization that conducted the survey that will be discussed, Scott Morasch and Ted Doering.
Following one of the event’s last networking opportunities, there will be a discussion on how omnichannel promotional campaigns can help the industry maximize player conversions. The panel will feature professionals such as PointsBet’s Nic Sulsky and Betsson’s Rome Smith, who will talk about the importance of omnichannel and hybrid marketing approaches.
