Boyd Gaming announces several new appointments
Boyd Gaming has recently carried out several new appointments in its higher management team.
The first of the gambling and hospitality firm’s latest appointments involved its EVP of Operations in Nevada, Steve Thompson, who has been promoted to the role of the company’s Chief Administrative Officer. Boyd Gaming selected Steve Schutte, the firm’s SVP of Las Vegas Operations, as Thompson’s replacement in the role of the EVP of Nevada operations, although Schutte will be responsible for the business’s hotel, food and beverage, and slot terminal offerings as well.
Boyd Gaming has also promoted the EVP of its Southern and Midwestern operations, Ted Bogich, to the company’s COO, with Ward Shaw, the SVP of the company’s operations across the US states of Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, and Missouri, succeeding him.
