Boyd Gaming’s revenue surpasses $900k in Q3 2023
Boyd Gaming has recently published its latest financial report covering the company’s performance in the third quarter of the year.
The company’s revenue figure reached just over 903 million dollars, up from 877 million dollars the company generated in the third quarter of last year. The majority of this revenue originated from the firm’s gambling operations, however, this business segment experienced a slight decline year-over-year, going from last year’s 668 million dollars to just over 641 million dollars.
Boyd Gaming’s second-highest revenue-generating segment was its online operations, which made just over 90 million dollars in the quarter, up by quite a bit from last year’s 52 million dollars. This was followed by the company’s food and beverage offerings and hospitality services, which generated 71 million dollars and 49 million dollars in the period respectively.
Despite experiencing an increase in its revenue, Boyd Gaming’s operating income went down from 237.5 million dollars last year to just under 218 million dollars due to increases in the company’s operating expenses and costs. This led to a net income of 135.2 million dollars, which represents around a 14% decline from last year’s income of 157 million dollars.
