The Leadership and Growth track of the upcoming edition of the Canadian Gaming Summit will offer attendees plenty of insightful discussions.

On the closing day of the conference, the Leadership and Growth track will provide the event’s participants with a selection of insightful panels covering business-related topics. This will include a look into SIGA’s successful operating model, which will give the track an early start in the day and will see panelists talk about how the organization was able to grow its prominence in the province of Saskatchewan and set an example for other Canadian tribal gambling operations.

Following the first panel will be a unique one-and-a-half-hour roundtable discussion session involving some of the industry’s top experts, like Century Casinos’ Geoff Smith and the Saskatchewan Indian Gambling Authority’s Zane Hansen. As part of these discussions, participants will be able to touch on a wide variety of topics, such as regulations in various Canadian provinces, tribal and charitable gambling operations, and much more.

The special track will then host another unique panel, the event’s inaugural First Pitch startup competition, which will give some of the region’s best entrepreneurs the opportunity to showcase their innovative ideas and attract interested professionals. Five finalists have been chosen to participate in the panel which will be judged by a set of esteemed experts, who will choose one lucky participant that will take home a special prize.

Up next, the track will host a couple of intriguing panels before the day’s end, starting with a discussion on responsible gambling and how it can help operators accelerate their growth. The panel will feature six top experts, such as the Responsible Gambling Council’s Shelley White and Entain’s SVP of RG, Martin Lycka.

The last panel of the track will cover a closely related topic, social responsibility. Its panelists, which will include Hard Rock’s Paul Pellizzari, BetMGM’s Anna Eleazer, and OLG’s Catherine Meade, will discuss the significance of ESG initiatives as the sector continues to expand and how companies need to establish inclusive and sustainable environments to succeed in the Canadian market.
